Ligularia Stenocephala 'Little Rocket'
Genus: Ligularia.
Species: Ligularia stenocephala.
Large leaved, dark green foliage. Flower spikes are dark purple to black with bright yellow flowers that last about three weeks. I bought is flower and it flowered through the rest of summer. It enjoys a damp position and part to full sun, so here, it can be exposedmost of the day. I found some against an apartment six feet tall and well established. I plan many good years with it. I potted up in a wide pot and buried in a raised bed that catches rain run off. Even bigger show next year I expect.
