Species: Arum italicum.
at the same time as I planted the trilliums I put in an Arum Italicum, which did pretty much the same thing and quickly died back this also is showing signs of life and yet again a single but strong shoot is showing woo hoo, both Arum and Trilliums were planted in soil which never really dries out but backfilled 8 inches down with grit and sand for drainage enriched with leave mold and garden compost
