Species: Trillium grandiflorum.
bought a couple of trilliums at Branklin Gardens in Perth several months go, very small with just a few leaves, which then proceeded to die back throughout the summer, ah well they are hard plants to grow I'm told, went out just now and had a look, and joy of joys, there are two sturdy shoots appearing where I planted them, cant wait, pictures however might be a little while
