Well I am glad I found this site! I’ve had a browse of some of the fabulous photos and am completely blown away! I’ll upload mine as and when I find time.

I asked a question about an anomaly in my garden and lots of helpful people dropped by and gave their thoughts, this morning I was given the answer, so I am very impressed.

About me: I’ve been writing for the BBC for over 11 years, on their h2g2 site, which was started by the late Douglas Adams (author of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) – we were writing articles for the “Earth Edition” of the Guide. I honed my skills as a writer and also sub-edited other authors’ work as well as other jobs around the site. There was also the community aspect, I made some great friends there and those I want to stay in touch with are in my Facebook friends list. The BBC in their wisdom are currently selling this wonderful site on, so I was looking for somewhere new.
