My Garden Progressing 2013

I thought I would upload a few pictures I`ve taken this year as the garden develops.
About fourteen months ago our new neighbours cut down all the ivy on their side of the wall to the left so dramatically reducing the backdrop effect which may have been visible in a photo or two I had previously posted.It has been replaced by a wooden fence.
They don`t know Ivy like I do…he..he..he.!
March 2013
First come the snowdrops with the Hellebores hovering to claim their patch of land.Quickly and efficiently they pounce to grab their moment of glory,only to be engulfed in a short space of time by the fresh green foliage of the various perennials (half of which I`d forgotten were there) who are eager and waiting to display their worth.
Just patiently waiting for some sunshine.
Ha,sunshine…..I`ve read about that somewhere!
Three from March…can you spot the cat?

Emerging Bleeding Heart…they grow so quickly.
Primroses…sure to banish those winter blues.
Tulips stand proud, celandine ready to burst in the background..(celandine? I hear you say!)
Small Daffs and an impatient Snakes Head waiting for his little brothers to emerge.
Err,I`m not pooping you know…..
I`ve just come to smell the flowers…….

May 18…just a couple of weeks and a bit later…
Spot the solitary Day Lily…..It has threatened to open for five days now.A record?
I can`t help but sing `I want to break free`,the old Queen song ,every time i look at these alliums.

Thank you for taking the time to look and pass comment.
If i`m strict enough with myself I will hopefully keep this updated for at least one full growing season.
I will also endeavour to browse through both yours and other members photo`s.There are just so many!

I'm always playing catchup Fidget as you can probably tell by my late arrival, I enjoyed seeing your pics, you have a very full garden, something I love to see, fit to burst suits me and obviously you, lots of my favs amongst your planting, and that includes the cat, lol...

it looks great, I love to see the bare roots of a garden than see it when the plants have exploded into life, it looks so lush, it make me want to wander around looking at all your plants. and yes I spotted you cat, so cute
