Thanks for all the welcoming comments and for the advice re my pond. I do love my garden and am always looking to do something else in it, so will follow all the members blogs to find new options, think I will enjoy chatting to other members very much. At present I am concentrating on the pond but hopefully will get started on planting bulbs and some winter planting this next week, any suggestions for filling my patio pots for some winter colour? Saw some small budlea plants in an ad that can be put in pots and will stay evergreen, does anyone know any garden centre on west yorks that might stock them?

Hi Edie if you see the alphabet in white at the bottom of the page it will take you into goypedia and under pots & containers you'll fing lots of ideas, and as with all things get happily sidetracked for hours.....

Welcome to GOY aswell from me, i've just put some daffs, tulip and crocus bulbs in some of my pots for spring this week, sorry can't help you with your garden centres as i live in Blackpool, but sure someone will help on here who live in your erea.
