As i open my eye’s to see who’s won!
the rooms full of todays light “and the winner The Sun”
It got through the open window and was waiting for my eyes to see,
The Sun’s bigger and brighter than you or me,
That feeling of warmth and cheer to be had and that knowing your alive and well and feeling happy not sad,
Like a flower after the sun’s woken it up “im now rising”
And im thankfull to drink out of lifes cup,
No drugs or false cream of the unknown do i need,
No false feeds to bring me alive and feeling a false “best”
ive lived a clean life and ive passed that test,
My needs in life are about to be forfilled as i open the door to another ray of sun and be greeted by four wagging tails and paws climbing high,
Just their way of saying "we"ve a little sunshine in here for you and its not from the sky."
So as i start yet another day full of life
I know but two things, I made it through the night and im a happy soul,
happpy with the simple ways of life.

being happy with the simple things in life is a great way to be happy. You can't buy it. The sun is shining here too and I intend to enjoy every ray of it. Have a good day:)
