Anyone out there knowledgeable about what I can grow up a south west wall (to cover render) about 400yds from the sea in Cornwall. Slightly acidic soil but fairly protected from the wind but salt on the air.
Thank you in advance for any ideas and suggestions

I have a pretty climber called Sollya that might do well with you against a s.w. wall. It has clusters of little blue bell shape flowers in summer and autumn, and it also produces little brown seed pods aswell. It's quite attractive and unusual.
I keep mine in shelter because we get some frost here sometimes but it should do well with you. I have some pictures of it on my homepage that you can look at.
