Deckers dissapointed

With it being so cold up here in lancashire I am finding that the seeds are taking longer than usual to germinate and the seedlings growing on very slowly.Although they are all in a greenhouse the weather has been very cloudy with very little sunshine, with the only ones to be near what I would call my normal growing rate being peas and asters. The forecast until at least Tuesday is poor as well so I am not expecting much change in the growth, still, there are some areas alot worse off than us and at least we have no restriction water issues.

I agree, doesn't it make the world of difference when its at least warm and dry when you wake up in the mornings. It gets to the stage that you don't want to come in out of the garden, having cups of tea, pottering about and have the radio on as you work.

I remember it well Decker! Lets hope we have better weather on the horizon. We will all be in the garden in our shorts and bikini tops soon!

I hope everyone's plants will be okay during the frosts which are due over the next few days/nights ...

I watched the forcast after the evening news, in the top corner of the screen it said" Gardeners Beware" I`m staying in bed, my poor greenhouses are bursting, no chance of moving things out yet, I`ve been and created a tent around my cucumbers and thats inside the greenhouse, I swear they were shivering, poor things, the heater is still set in the other house just to be on the safe side..
