some pics from tatton show this week

looked very nice - I love the bug hotel - wanted to do something with those engineering bricks I seen in there -funny thing is spiders are there first :D Love seeing webs around the garden - strange ah :D

Thank you Cristina I really enjoyed your visit to the show. I love cottage gardens too! so my favorite pic was of the painted cottage, such lovely colours planted out side of it. I agree with Paul a nice pic of you. :-)

Hi Cristina,lovely pics..you have nicked my blog lol..i was there on Sunday & have drafted a blog to put on i have a few pics that are the same as yours but i dont think it matters..it cost us £21.50 each to get in (a friend got the tickets for us member of NT ) & i paid for my granddaughter £64.50..thats almost enough for a new handbag & shoes lol..nice day out though..

Cristina, i did enjoy it spent a small fortune though, we took granddaughter age 10 & took her to the childrens bit..woman there was lovely & let her have 4 veg plants free & took a Russian strawb plant out of the display for her as she is entering a local plant show next month & wanted something unusual..some beautiful floral displays inside the tents..needed a full day to get round everything..we always go on the last day & everything gets reduced at 4pm...can buy twice as much then lol..no not put my blog on yet..:o)

What an inspiring blog, Cristina, thanks! I've always fancied Tatton, but wish it wasn't so far . . . mayb a B&B next year(?). LOVE the fountains and the pond . . . good luck with yours.

stay on site sheila ~ we waited ages in the traffic to be able to park there! the roads round it are not built for a big show!! i went a few years ago and it was a nightmare ~ i hope they have improved it.

sorry sheila i very much doubt it but be prepared for long traffic jams or go early!!!

we go to tatton every year and really enjoy it. It is a bit expensive, but what isn't nowadays. We always go on the Thursday. It isn't too busy and the traffic is never too bad. I wouldn't dream of going there on the weekend.

the traffic was great this year , in and out !! no queuing at all . its not policed this year , but a specialized company did it ................ they had a one way system in place . very organized .they did the same at cheshire show , u were in in less than 10 mins , the police are you useless at traffic control !! i wouldn't worry wot day u went ............ busy every day .
loads space to park as well ............ and no prob getting out as u can see from the last pics !
in tatton they rent holiday homes which i imagine wud be lovely . so now you know .......... off you go ...... lol ;0)))

Enjoyed your blog, saw the young designers wild flower exhibit on tele, think that's my favourite..or maybe the pond, the verbena looked more pinky than normal, is that just the pic or is there a pinkish one out? that would be lovely:-)
