Well I can’t let the 29th February go without posting a blog now, can I? I haven’t been around for a while cos there’s been absolutely nothing going on in my garden, but this week things seem to be happening and I’ve had a couple of trips to the garden centre :D

Here’s a Fatsia japonica I bought a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been looking for one for a while after seeing Alan Titchmarsh sing it’s praises :) I was a little disgruntled when I saw one yesterday for 3.99 when I paid 11.99 for this one! It was only half the size though. Still haven’t told hubby…

The following plants were 3 for 10.00, they’re in pots for now, I’ll find them a permanent home later in the year :)

The Cistus is living next to the front door with my spring tub and friends :)

The Clematis which was growing through the Ceanothus has been propped up onto trellis…

…Because the Ceanothus no longer exists! What an awful plant, it hadn’t flowered since we moved here in April last year and smelt funny! We got rid of the Pyracantha which was planted next to it as well (and got plenty of scratches in the process!) Hopefully these conifers and Euonymus will fill out the area and look nice in a few years :)

Thanks for looking at my blog, hopefully there will be lots going on in the garden this year as we set about transforming it :)
