Confessions of a new addict........

Warning!! The face of Britain as you know it may change……

I’m talking about the new James Wong book of “Grow your own drugs” of course!! I used to be a demure mother of 2 (well, 3 if you include hubby) but now I don’t recognise myself!!!

I bought all these lovely plants for my garden, envisioning lots of wildlife and watching it all. Now, I’ve turned into a female demonic gardener who wrecks all her plants: flowers, leaves, roots and all!!!

Has this afflicted anyone else? All I’ve done so far is make ecezma cream and already I’ve earmarked several new plants for destruction………

Is the rest of Britain’s lush greenery and beauty going to disappear into those lil’ brown pots to pamper our bodies with? I dread to think…..

By the way, my cream turned out an evil green, not James Wong’s perfect white………..

Ewwww....evil green??? :-O
The important thing is, did it work? I can't say I've made any concoctions from my plants....I'll have to look into this.....Hmmmm

Sounds interesting. If I see a green woman I'll introduce myself to you!

(cackles!!) Set myself up for that one, didn't I!!!

Yep, I'm pleased to say the evil cream works wonders! My dd says it tingles a bit, but it has reduced the inflammation considerably!

Much to my hubby's disgust, I'm going to make some bad breath spray tommorrow, but forgot to buy the vodka. Tch, how could I forget that!!!

Why do you want bad breath?

2 Apr, 2009

Hee hee hee, Toto. :oD
Vodka based bad breath spray?? Take enough of that and you won't care if you have bad breath. LOL

In this part of the world Chamomile tea seems to work very well for eczema. I only have one cup a day and haven't been bothered by any outbreaks for nearly a year. Have to say I like the sound of the vodka-infused remedy. Any other remedies containing falling-down water? Like ... red wine ........? Hm?

I enjoy those programs. I'll have to buy the book. I have a birthday soon - maybe I'll have it then :o)

Nariz. Every day I have an infusion of beer to keep the elephants out of the bedroom. It definitely works as I've never had trouble with them.

3 Apr, 2009

Nariz, if you bruise 5 sprigs of rosemary and put in a bottle of wine, it's supposed to be a memory booster!!! Don't know about you, but it'd send me to sleep and forget everything, titter!

Hywel, you'd better hurry, as I think it's now out of print. I got mine from Amazon half price!

Toto, no, no animals are mentioned in the book, no cruelty to any animals and all that...... They do have "testers" on the programme you see........

Oh, by the way, my dh and dd have bad breath due to sinusitits, poor loves...... My dd is up for trying it tho'.......

Cruelty to animals is not an option Craftnutter. Cruelty to humans is another story!

Those would be the pink elephants would they Toto???

4 Apr, 2009

Ah yes, Toto, I can see where you're coming from now....... Lol!!

Gilli, would that be pink elephants after we've drunk the vodka but before the beer????

4 Apr, 2009

Have to say, I've not been bothered by elephants either. I must be doing SOMETHING right!

5 Apr, 2009

What are you trying to say Gilli?
May be the chamomile tea Nariz, but I doubt it. Sounds more like a punishment for something you did in an earlier life than a cure for anything.

5 Apr, 2009

In that case I must have been AWFULLY bad!!

6 Apr, 2009

Don't worry Nariz, I'm sure you're not that bad and will be forgiven.

6 Apr, 2009

Nothing...Toto....I'm saying nothing at all !!! Hee hee hee

CN ~ Pink elephants after the vodka and before the beer.....Yellow polka dot ones after the beer and before the Tequila.
