Torpoint Ferry

Today we went for a ride to Torpoint so we just had to go across on the ferry ( As you do ) So i thought some of the navy boats in the naval yard would be good to photograph.
Ah hear come’s our ferry
He is waving us on to the ferry, they were very nice chap’s, very friendly and polite.
This is the one going the other way back to Torpoint
And as promised a few of the Ship’s
I had to take this picture through the window so its not very good. But this is the ferry going back.

Interesting photos Sue. I remember going on the Torpoint Ferry several years ago. Beryl doesn't like going on a boat, so I just drove on without telling her where she would end up lol ... and she called me a pig !
We went back the long way round :D

I always enjoyed cycling to Plymouth, on west country tours. Thanks for the memories. Cant cycle anymore now, knee trouble.

Hywel, you still remember being called a pig after several years? I sympathise with Beryl, preferring terra firma to any sort of boat!

I'm sure she's forgiven you Hywel Reminds me of being made to go on the log flume at Alton Towers - the family assured me it wasn't like a roller coaster and by the time I discovered the lie it was too late to get off...
