Out again yesterday, mainly sunny but a few drops of rain, nothing to worry about we still enjoyed the day.
Firstly as i said we stopped at Watersmeet, they have a nice cafe (Badgers Holt) also a few small animals there, we had a walk through them.

“No,stop messing about”

“Oh all right then”

“OK then i’ll play with my mate, if you dont wont to play”

And so on to Post bridge and its quaint little post office,
the lovely lady in there is so nice and helpful too.

The famous Postbridge “Clapper” bridge.

Then the sun popped out for a little while

This was the most deeply coloured rainbow, if you look closely you can just see a second one to the left,They were on towards Chagford

In Chagford itself are some very quaint little shops like this ironmongers and dairy shop

I did NOT, i repeat NOt buy a cream cake Hehe.

Whot about this for a bank

And so home to get a nice cuppa.

Photos of beautiful places. You get to see some wonderful scenery.
I'm sure Watersmeet is mentioned in the book 'Lorna Doone' - I read it once many years ago.

Well would you Adam and Eve it? The name above that ironmongers is my maiden name, doubt whether there is a connection though as dad originates from the potteries, lol.
It looks a lovely place Sue, you got some smashing pics, captured the rainbow just right...
