Today my husband and i decided to visit Stover Country park. This park is just 6 miles from us but we hadn’t visited it for several years (since Mojo died). It has really been improved since then and we are looking forward to a Spring visit when there should be loads to see and take pictures of. Todays visit was just a taster and allowed us to check whats available. The park is around 114 acres (47 hectares) in total and contains Toilets and a Nature awareness centre, which is Warden attended. The park consists of 1 large and several small lakes. It also has Wooded plantations, Marshland, Pasture and heathlands.all in all a real nature lovers park. Here today are just a few of the Mammals, Insects, Animals, Butterflies, and Birds plus Flora and Fauna available. a later blog here will be a must.

The main Lake

Terns at roost

Cormorant drying his wings

Cheeky robin

Close up , then cropped Chaffinch
