It really does still look extremely colourful Cinders! Well done....the Fuchsia in the second photo looks lovely. I like its arching habit. Is that a new one?

All still looking good Cinders, please what's the plant with the whirly stems in pic 9, it looks very unusual.

Like your varigated fuchsia which one is that or is Rosemarie Higham

Thank you folks, the Fuchsia, variegated, is new to me, called Janice Perry. I bought it a few weeks ago on the reduced counter looking a bit bedraggled, but after repotting it is doing well now.

Waddy the swirly stems are the seedheads of Clematis Arctic Queen.

Thanks Kath. Its Janice Perry. I had Rosemarie Higham last year, but it didn't survive the winter.

Neither did my Rosemary Higham .

I must look for Janice Perry Cinders Its beauiful.

Everything is still looking good. I love the seedheads of clematis arctic queen. I've never seen them before, they look very impressive. Worth getting even if the flowers aren't nice (which I'm sure they are)!

Thanks Lijemc. It is a lovely white clematis. Should be double, but most of my flowers were single this year, but large.

thank you Holly. Yes I shall enjoy it while it lasts. Soon have to put the fuchsias and begonias inside I think.

24 Sep, 2013

The garden is still offering you plenty of colour Sylvia, and with luck we may get a couple more weeks of good weather before we see the last of the fuchsias and begonias.
Can you remember the name of the Acer in the fourth photo please.

25 Sep, 2013

Hi Stroller, the Acer is Orange Dream. I have just bought a frost jacket for it as its getting too big for my little greenhouse now. Its made a lot of growth this year so will have to leave it out this time, and keep my fingers crossed.

I DO love your garden Cinders, allways something to look at and lots of lovely colour and a great choice of plants, your orange dream should be ok over winter, all of my acers are left out and i haven't lost one yet (fingers crossed) I have a beautifull red standard (sorry dont know name) in a pot that i put up against the house for winter but thats it, anyway good luck with your orange dream im sure it will be fine with its frost jacket..
