my first grand daughter is now 22ys old and today she announced her best friend had just had a baby so she is a thrilled (extended family) aunty

Oh lovely... Mum always said a grandchild is special - a different kind of love from your children as you do all the things you should have done as a parent that were right and the things that you got wrong - well you get a second chance!! I think you will be lovely grandparents.

Thanks for your good wishes,Richard.Thomas is coming on a treat,even sleeping well ...a real bonus for mum and dad....if it lasts Lol.Its been great having such good weather,as they have been able to take him out every day...a lovely time of year to be born.:o))
By the way,the guttering planter is ready.Have decided to put the mixed salad
lettuces in it,as they are only shallow rooted...will post a pic when up and running......

We didn't have much sleep for about the first year after our children were born.
Your mixed salad crop should do well in the guttering Bloomer-looking forward to seeing it planted up. :-)
