Reason to believe my Spaghetti Squash is returning...

Last summer, my soil sprouted Spaghetti Squash from out of nowhere. It was late, so I only gotten 2 squashes out of it. Anyway, I think it’s coming back… I have seedlings in the exact same spot as last yr. Here is a pic. Not a very good one, since it was taken with my new phone that’s not activated yet. So it’s a pic of a pic. Btw, how do you protect large plants like squash from bugs without chemicals??
