A couple of tubs that have mad the transition from Spring to Summer, with a lot of hard work, and money spending.

Take a look.

THEN

The Spring display (taken during strong winds, hence damage)

NOW

Pelargonium Regalia"Purple"

THEN

The Pansies & Violas

NOW

Mini Dahlia “Paula”

Mini Dahlia “Anna”

Both tubs are lined with white and red trailing petunias.

The weather did change. The picture was taken shortly before the Spring display mysterioulsy died and left only a few pansies. At the time I was upset to see so much damage, and the tub never recovered. Now it has heakthy Summer plants. It was in need of a complete replacament for some time, but i just left it to it's own devices.

It is a shame that the pansies and violas started dying off, because it was a lovely display and I was lucky enough to have pictures of it. A neighbour also informed me that he had taken pictures as well.

We need sopme rain here after all the blistering hot Sun, but the cloud just lingers and makes it cold outside.

We want a hevay downpur over night, just empty the sky of cloud to revitalise the gardens and the brown dying grass, and then have some lovely warm Sunshine.

Thanks for the nice comment on the pics.

I think this comment is very long, so i am going to shut up now. LOL :o)

Very bright and cheerful Alex, that tub of pansies and violas was spectacular but your summer display will be as good with your care. You are so right, we are getting desperate here for rain but all we are getting are dull cloudy days, at least the wind died down today.....

Hello Alex! As Lincslass says, those violas were totally spectacular!! Your new plants will be lovely as well, and give you lots of colour through the summer, lovely!

We had a little rain overnight, as I aw that it was wet outside, but I think it was only light and the clouds are still as heavy.
