I have spent so much time and money on the back garden outside my bedroom window of my ground floor flat. So now I thought that the front just outside the commual doors under one of the front windows needed a little colour as it just looked bland. It will also put on a show for the people who sit on the front step while their children run around in the Summer.

Diagram Below:

The trough:

The Pansies are from a pack of 30 Plug Plants of different colours, so they will be a surprise.
The hyacinths go blue, pink, blue, pink.
Pink phlox (Bright Eyes) either side of a White Agapanthus (African Lily White)

Your trough will look lovely when in bloom and looks so neat and nice now too with the green, that is so very thoughtful of you to do the communial area for others to sit and look at, you are putting value on your area hope you realise that. I have Agapanthus two types they say they flower quicker in pots, but I have one in the ground a white one called snow cloud, I bought it from the Eden Project years ago, and that flowers and is in the ground.

Thanks you two, and as my back garden is against the communal road, which is used 50/50 by cars and pedestrians on the estate, and many people stop to look while passing by, so already people have said that the communal area where I have been busy digging all year round looks lovely.

I started last year in February, and it had a bit of nice colour, and this year will be the first time I have completed kitted out the garden with Spring builbs and soon with piles of packets of garden seeds itching to be planted.

I will have to blog to update you on any reactions the back or front get.

P.S. Of course plently of pictures are a must.
