A busy couple of evenings filling gaps in the borders mainly with all the “garden ready” stuff in the polyhouses; Delphiniums, Lillies, Sweet peas, Echinops, Antirrhinums, Chrysanthemums.
Running out of room & still got lots of plants coming on.
Really warm today, lovely, Is Summer on its way?

It would be nice to think so - the swallows have been back for a couple of weeks, and today they were flying very high - isn't that supposed to be a sign of good weather? The forecast here is cloud coming up from the SW then some showers on Friday, still warm though. Funny how we always run out of room, isn't it! I go round looking where I can squeeze another plant in... and there are loads of Rudbeckias (from seed) waiting to be pricked out. I shall be giving most of them away because I already have dozens of RED Cosmos growing fast! First time I've grown these - can't wait to see them in flower.

Three days of sun in a row hope this isnt our summer - remember last year warm spring then floods.Muddyboots talking about a hosepipe ban surely not!
