Been a good year for gardening, flowers, hanging baskets have been providing plenty of colour.
Pleased with the vegetables, seem to have got to grips with raised beds and pots for veggies, Runner beans were plentiful as were marrows, outdoor tomatos cropped heavily, Alicante variety excellent. Moved away from growbags to pots seems to have worked. Found growbags awkward and heavy to move about so pots it is. Beetroot in pots nearly ready to crop.
Best news no sign of leek moth, leeks are growing well have we beaten the little blighter this year ?? hope so.
Planting spring bulbs, love the colour of spring after a dull and dismal winter.
hope you dear reader have had a year as well, winter delight is reading seed catalogues and websites may winter soon pass.
