Absolutely lovely. Do keep them safe. They really deserve a beautiful leather binding. I wish my father was still alive as he was a traditional bookbinder and he would be delighted to see your drawings and notes. They are very special.

Thank you so much Grenville for your kind comments. It would be very excited to have them leather bound, I love old books and do admire all the craftsmanship that goes into the binding. Much as I enjoy messing around on the computer there is nothing quite like holding a beautifully crafted book.

Gillian this is something that you children will always treasure it would be a family heirloom and would be fantastic to get it bound , take care of it :o)
