Ivy, how I came to this site.

So I’m in France for a few days,when I found 3 of my trees had came down with the wind, they are on a barbed wire boundary so I have cut and logged them ready for drying, but they were covered in very thick Ivy, hence I wanted to know if I could burn 🔥the Ivy. I think they are Berbarus trees.

If you save the thicker stems until they are really dry they make brilliant firelighters.

yes you can burn the thicker woody stems of the ivy. I wouldn't bother burning the lighter stiff or the leaves.
