Blooming cheek

Reduced my seed sowing this year but find better quality plants as a result. Just goes to show that maybe one can over sow and produce plants that need more aid than we can give. My new venture produced some really healthy Morning glory plants to brighten our south facing fence. My Tomatoe plants also seem to be coming along fine also. This year I am trying a new growing system for my Tomatoes and will let you know the results. Have been advised to try a new multi compost “Revive” produced by our council re-cycle dept. Wonder what its like?. Havent decided on that yet. Fuchsias from last year full of healthy growth but one of my gnomes seems to have gone walkies blooming cheek. Tomorrow should see the completion of my portable woodworking bench but I have had to put my TV into mothball,s to make shed room for it. Well its getting busy now so take care everyone. Tony

Tony I tell myself every year that I have too many and the next year I'm not sowing as many, it still hasn't worked out that way so good on you..
I've never tried the council compost so will be interested in how you get on if you do decide to use it, you're right its a busy time now, enjoying it is the main thing otherwise it becomes a chore.....

Oh dear, just leave it open for a while, I've been putting my toms in the circles that I always use, before doing that I had to dig over the borders in the greenhouse and then I put a thick mulch of homemade compost down, the circles sit on that, boy it should be good Tony cos it sure did smell, if your car has a similar smell I can understand why your wife would say that, LOL....

hi Lincslass Soil looks quite good. I was surprprised at its quality . Will be potting up shortley so the results i hope will be acceptable. All my plants showing roots at base of pots. My fav soil is j arthur bowers ,but your system seems to be very natural and interesting. Always experimenting i will try your method once i have results of this new soil quality. Car now very clean, fit for a king as they say. Take care lincslass Tony
