Recentley i veiwed my little Angel(Tubby red breasted robin) and his freinds being stopped from feeding by local pigeons. Having just dismantled a bathroom cabinet i decided to literaley throw together a basic anti pigeon feeder with some of the wood. Amazingley tubby and his freinds were in the structure feeding within 25 minuets of its erection. Due to usage i havent even been able to paint it. Hope You all like, take care. Tony

Sounds as if we are in for a cold winter. The birds will feel safe at your feeder. Great idea,we may have to make something like it.

Hi Dwyllis Managed to paint feeder today. The birds were eating despite the paint, the metal feeder we bought has been out over two days and they will not go near it. Very odd. Take care Tony

Hi Snoopdog Yes your right quite a lot of bad feeders on the market we have several the birds avoid. We have probs with the metal ones. Take care Tony

Hi Hannahbana Painted feeder today and shortley after the birds were useing it. The blooming paint was still wet!. Not difficult to put together. I used Glue and very small screws to assemble it. Take care ,good luck. Tony

Lovely to see someone caring for these birds. Tubby & his friends will certainly appreciate this during the colder months when food is scarce ....& those greedy pigeons will be kept at bay.
