Sun was out but it was very windy and cold outside so i cheated and constructed a cold frame in my greenhouse , where it was 80 f. The gh frame groaned but it was very pleasant. Radio made it nice also. i had pre cut the frame and Doweled the staging sides which i fitted 2 yrs ago. The cold frame can be assembled in 5 minuets for this winter. Then i potted 2 Fuchsias and 3 tomato plants to fill some time in. My good lady supplied the tea and biccies but retired very rapidly when i broke into a chorus of love me tender. Had one major hiccup with my hose, my good lady turned it on at the house and Lucy (Bless her)got a soaking on the lawn. Sorry folks( and Lucy) it was my fault i had,nt closed the end fixture. Pleasent day though and i hope your,s was indeed the same . Take care enjoy.

Hello Tony! You're right! It was blowing a gale here today too, although the sun shone all day and it was quite warm outside but roasting in the greenhouse!
Looks like you'll have to whittle up a little mac and a sou'wester if you're going to give poor Lucy a drenching everyday! Mind you, you could just shake her over your plants...save you having to do the watering yourself!
Speaking of plants, yours seem to be coming on a treat, the tomatoes are looking great, what variety did you get this year? They look like good strong plants! Be in touch again very soon, have fun in the garden!

Your greenhouse looks so neat and tidy compared with mine. I need to spend some time in there. At the moment I have four hanging baskets coming along a treat, six wall baskets which need some filler plants, three pots of dianthus cuttings desperately needed to replace the old, original plants, several trays of toilet roll inners housing beans and sweet corn, a couple of trays of sprouting dalhias and a couple of lengths of guttering containing recently sown peas. I need to tidy up the corner stuffed with empty pots soon to make way for this month's cuttings.

Hi Tony, I agree with Xela.....such a tidy and clean greenhouse! Among all my young plants and seedlings are 3 cat baskets...in the warmest spot of course! Glad you enjoyed your day, I do need to get myself a radio for ours, it would make such a difference, mmm, coffee machine next, comfy deckchair, me and the cats would while away the hours.........:o)) Poor Lucy bless her!
