A belated Happy Christmas to you all

Hope you all had a wonderful christmas and got lots of lovely presents. Apologies for the lateness of the message, but i’ve been suffering from a rather bad cold and cough, and now the cough has returned with a vengence. But then again half of my family and friends have it so i’m not alone. Hope you have all managed to escape the perils of the winter weather so far.

Also wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their messages, both for my blogs and my questions. This year has certainly been a learning curve for me when it comes to gardening and i’m absorbing as much as i can as quickly as i can. But without your support and advice i wouldnt have known what to do about a lot of things, so a BIG THANK YOU to you all.

Ventured into the garden earlier to drain the puddles from my pots, now that the snow is thawing. Inspected the rest of the garden while i was out. Some plants do look a little sorry for themselves, so i’m just hoping they will perk up in the spring.

I had some wonderful gardening presents for christmas including a pile of books that i’m going to settle down with shortly. And one of the presents from hubby…….a lovely warm hat that says ‘head gardener’ on it. I think he now knows his place :) !!!!

Have a wonderful New Year everyone x
