Hi,
just to let you all know that janes operation went fine, they removed all the cancer and she is now on her Chemo, we went to shepperton wig company a few days ago ready for when her hair falls out, she picked a lovely short brown one although they call it espresso…. don’t know why i can’t drink it :-)

we got the wig just in time as two days later her hair started to fall out.

anyway she’s doing well and quite cheerful so things look promising..

now for a few pics sorry i’ve not been on but so busy plus having to re-build my MG which i didn’t plan for…

some of this years tadpoles..

muscari armeniacum agm, nice bulb if you keep an eye on it as it spreads quite quickly.

this should be magnolia denudata Jade white but has a nice red flame outside of it like “Sunrise” so it could be that one.

Puschkinia scilloides, striped squill.

vibernam Bodnantense.

my camellia brushfields yellow.

viola odorata

Ipheion uniflorum

pieris forest flame

one of my lilacs, love this shrub.

a nice periwinkle i have in my hedge.

one of my forsythia this is a young cutting about two years old now.

one of my tulips.

cornflower ‘amethyst’

one of my drumstick prims, they have done well this year..

london pride or saxifraga umbrosa..

prunus stella, a nice cherry blossom.

caught this dandelion just as the wind blew, pic not as good as i hoped but not bad..

stipa gigantea along with pheasant tail grass, they make a nice combo i thought.

one of my freesia’s love the colour of it..

and to finish last nights moon…

anyway that’s my lot for now, hope your all ok and have a great easter weekend.
regards
Warwick.

Lovely pictures Warwick, your garden must be looking very colourful at the moment, the drumstick Primula is a lovely colour. Best wishes to your wife for a speedy recovery. What Terra says about hair re-growing after chemo is so true, my son-in-law's hair re-grew very quickly after his chemo.

Hi, Warwick, nice to hear from you again. I wish and your family very nice Easter holidays. I really admire how supportive you are for your wife. Not all men are like that, I had 18 year of experience in health care and saw different people and different fates. Hopefully all will get back into its original tracks. P.S. That Moon is fantastic.

Glad to hear the surgery went well. Hope the chemo isn't too rough on her. Loosing your hair is a horrible side effect but she can look on the bright side, she'll get ready much quicker as she won't be drying and styling her hair or having to shave. Although she may need to draw on eyebrows.

If the hair loss is getting her down, it's only temporary and as terra says it comes back quickly. My aunties hair came back really quickly and quite thickly (including on her legs, much to her disappointment lol).

Happy Easter.
