Slight alteration to right and left hand patio

Over the course of the this last year I have made slight adjustments to the garden starting with the righthand side of the patio as you come out of the french doors from the kitchen diner.

Haven`t done much here just put the backless immitation bee-hive on casters to go over the hosepipe. The dublin bay rose has been flowering profusely since May

Stepping down from the patio to the top bed where we still have some colour and hopefully next year the White Ceanothsis will bloom.

Then we go over to the right side of patio where I have put in a small water feature with an old pump , pan is still resting on the old whisky barrel and getting surrounded by ivy we have just seen the last of the roses New Dawn and Welcome

Going up the steps to the patio gives a better view

and of course the little girl is still quietly reading her book

I am going down the garden altering here and there, at a snails pace these days, I hope to show my efforts as I go a long.
I do look in at your blogs and comment now and then its good to see what has been happening during these trying times … hope we still have a few days of good weather to enjoy our gardens.

Phyl, lovely to see photos of your garden again. You have lots going on, ornaments, knick-knacks , along with some very pretty plants too. Take care ... :o)

I do agree with the others, it’s a very pretty garden filled with colour and interest too. I’m thinking of buying some yellow leaved jasmine again. One of the clematis plants is struggling so I may replace it. Had to remove my jasmine several years ago due to building work.
Your area next to the steps is lovely, the way it sort of cascades with plants and features..

Your garden looks full of interest. I can understand you doing things at snail pace, I am the same now lol, but your garden seems to be thriving. Your patio area is beautiful :)

You have crammed so much into your garden Stroller. I think you're so right to take things slowly, far better than rushing ahead and then regretting what you've done. Right now your garden is full of colour and texture.

Its always a treat to see your garden Stroller, lovely as its always been, thankyou for the meander around I really enjoyed it, I bet its lovely sitting out and admiring what you've created ...I'm still fighting against having to pace myself if I'm doing a biggish job, so I get stuck in and put up with the aches afterwards, luckily I don't get many of those sort, lol, the rest is done at my age related pace, that way I don't get as many moans aimed at me by him indoors....Stay safe and keep enjoying the garden...

Had another look at your lovely garden Phyl and want to know which euphorbia that is, it looks almost white or very light silver and which blue flower (geranium?) is in the same bed? Love that bed, in fact all your garden:-))

Sorry for the delay Ba I couldn`t get any pictures on the blogs but have now changed my Browser and all is now fine.
The blue flower is geranium "Rozanne" but unfortunately I have lost the euphorbia label.

Thanks Phyll, got a few rozannes, but yours looks more compact. I've lost my camera, so can't take any pics. I must have put it away somewhere when someone was coming to view my house:-( All the beauty of autumn and no camera .....I have a new phone which allegedly is smart, so it must be me who is stupid, but I can't get on with it. I will persevere, everyone says I will love it eventually, but I love my old tiny phone which just calls and texts:-)
