February was a vacation from El Nino.. the month’s high averaged 70f (21c) with a low of 53f. Our historic February average is 62f (12c) and 43f That’s a huge difference that I didn’t even think was possible.
But!..From March 2nd to the 16th? Not one sunny day is forecast. Either rains or clouds.
I was just about ready to repot as plants are stirring…but I guess i will wait a month since more soil will just be cold and wet.
I am really going to miss the sun,the warm evenings.

Its being erratic here and March is covering all the weathers and only 3 days in.. Keeping all my options open, gardening is being done in my armchair as I resist sowing my seeds, I too am looking forward to sunshine and warmth on the patio, at the moment its indoors with the cental heating turned on........

It was very nice Linda,- we even had those red sunsets. The change is happening as I write..darker with heavy rains forecast by the weekend. Only tomorrow is the day to get something done.

Lin,I was thinking that too about heating. Some years its so cool in spring here- fog- I would shake my head that its say May,and I have to use the heater. As a matter of fact when I think of Cinco De Mayo? I think fog. Most years it is.

And yet..we have a very warm February a few 26C days...T-shirt weather. Our February was as warm as the month of May usually is.

I hope your weather will improve soon. It's so frustrating when one can't do things in the garden.
It is rather cold here in Wales. I would say it's about 8 or 9 C today but the sun is shining :o)
I won't be sowing any seeds for a while yet.

Right now highs are running 15 or 16c. Not a warm spring day here Howell either.

Rains are bringing huge amounts of water to local lakes. That's nice to see. Its been years since Ive seen the proverbial cup runneth over in the bay area.

The rest of March is forecast of more of the same. My tropicals are doing for the greater good and putting off growth-lol.
