Last summer i was lucky enough to havewatched at close hand a pair of finches nest at my back door they couldnt get closer to the door i sat on the step and watched them fly past me when they were building the nest . Three eggs were laid and hatched and again i stood on doorstep and watched them fly in and feed the chicks then one day i watched as the chicks flew the nest i will post on pics of nestsite and mother feeding chicks you have to look realy hard to make the chicks out . I thought they would come back this yr as the nest is still tucked inside the jasmine . I have a robin nesting in my shed this yr and already has reared one chick which flew the nest now there is another three in it will get pics before they fly out mr robin has been busy this yr

update on robins i thought there was just 3 chicks but it looks like there is 5
