hi . i ordered plants from this company without reading the reviews about the place. i was horrified and started panicking that i too would fall foul of them .

i decided to write a few tickets to find out what my status of order was as it had been nearly two weeks since i had ordered and paid.

i had no reply so i was pretty sure i was going to be swindled. i monitered my order status for a couple of days and it changed and finally they were dispatched. they all arrived on friday and were nice big plants and in good condition . there was slight “pushing down” of the top of a few plants though but no damage.

therefore i will give them a score 8/10 for their overall service as they replied to my questions the day after the items arrived with an apoogy as it is all computerised mmmmmmm.

now if i was to give 0/10 for a company it would be gardens4u.co.uk. they are the pits the barerooted plants sent will have to grow for at least three years to get anything decent from them one azealea was just a twig 6ins high that will take many years growing on in a pot to get anything from it. a complete rip off . in fact purchacing plants from the internet is not for me any more i will stick to the local garden centres.

Interesting Sparky. It's always good to know about other member's experiences with mail order offers. I've had good and bad results, sometimes not so good from Thompson and Morgan I have to say, but at least they will give a refund or replacement.

That shows it's better to see what you want before buying it. But some places are good. I ordered some perennials from Cotswold Garden Flowers two years ago, and had excellent plants. They were big and grew into beautiful plants.
I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience, but glad it seems to have turned out well in the end.
