Violet flowers appear on upright reddish-purple stems from mid-summer to mid-autumn above the glossy, red-edged, dark green leaves. This attractive, evergreen hebe is perfect for adding colour to a border in sun or part-shade. It is a compact variety that makes an excellent, long-flowering container plant. It is also tolerates pollution and salt-laden air. Garden care: Needs minimal pruning. Remove misplaced or frost damaged branches in late spring.
