Garden care: After planting reduce the main stem to 30cm (12in) and, using raffia or garden twine tie in to a bamboo cane tied vertically to a series of horizontal galvanised wires. Train pairs of lateral stems to develop permanent fruiting stems - when these exceed one metre pinch out the tips and train a new leading shoot
A self-fertile variety producing both male and female creamy-white flowers, followed by delicious, greenish-brown Kiwi fruit. This vigorous, deciduous, trailing climber is perfect for a sunny, sheltered site. Best trained as an espalier against a warm wall, it's perfect for where there is only space for one fruiting plant.
