Shuttlecock Fern (Matteuccia struthiopteris)

Shuttlecock or Ostrich Feather Fern - Pinnate fronds taper at both ends and grow in a vase like cluster around robust rootstock. Spreads by creeping rootstock. Superb in a damp setting wehn shade is not vital.
