New Camera testing testing 1 2 3

Hi, everybody,

Not been on here for a while been poorly but picking up now, in fact i went to the local park today with my new camera to test it out and as there’s not much going on in my garden at the moment i thought i’d put some photos on here.

There were a LOT of berries, does this mean a bad winter on the way? or is that an old wives tale?

Oh it won’t load some of them because they are too big :o( Never mind you get the idea!!

Pleased you are on the up again Sk, you enjoy yourself with your camera, its a good pastime while you recharge your batteries, I often have to resize as well, my own fault for not checking before I try and put them on.
Lovely pics, lots of berries on my hawthorn hedge as well, I`ve always understood its natures way of signifying a bad winter, sigh, mind you they look very attractive...

I'm sure you feel better soon Sewingkilla. I have the same condition like yours may be not so bad and I am trying to ignore it and live a normal life.
Your camera is good as all colour came true and natural.

Well done on venturing out to the park, Sk, love that tree in the first pic ... as for the berries ... I have never seen so many/so early on my Pyracanthas ... the birds seem to be ignoring them though! ... I really hope we have a milder Winter than the previous one! . . . . . .

Lovely to see you back SK! You've been away nearly all summer! I know...what summer! I'm glad you're feeling a bit better, don't push yourself too hard, I'm sure you feel worse when you're tired.
Great results with your camera, S, the colours look really good, and it seems very sharp too! I think you've cropped them really well too, they're great shots! What camera did you end up with, S, it's very good!
The trees in our garden are absolutely laden down with berries, as well, I hope it's not a sign of another bad winter! Brrrrr!;0)

Lots of berries means we had a good pollinating season. Plants grow according to the conditions they have had,, not what the conditions may be in a few months time.

I'm glad you're feeling better now. Pitty about the other photos. I am having lots of problems with GoY aswell
:o( Maybe they'll get sorted out.
