Today I started to get the nursery organised for the new season. It was great to put my christmas and birthday presents to good use…we gardeners are so easy to buy for…

out came the birthday wellies first…

I just love them…..

then out with the new wheel barrow…god help he who puts cement in this one!!!!

Although the sun was shinning it was still cold so i headed for my tunnel. An early start has been made with Julian sowing his giant onions seeds i got him for christmas of Peter Glazebrook who grew the record onion last year.

found this pic below of Peter on line…

they have a long way to go…lol

this one weighed in at 18lb…it will be interesting to see how Julian gets on…

This giant scoop was a great help mixing up my first batch of compost…

and you can never have enough pairs of these…

I love to get tools for the garden for christmas and birthdays….but i would hate to get ones for the kitchen…lol

Happy days..Sandra :-)

I agree there's nothing like a gardening pressie
Love the wellies lol :o)
I've got several pairs of secateurs but can never find any of them !
Good luck to Julian with his onion seeds. I'm thinking of growing some onions this year, and I may try seeds.
