Using up the garden fare, a reason to party!

Afternoon goy-ers!

Rain, rain, rain.. LOVE IT! fill those rain barrels, and the raised beds, and the pond AND any other containers. free water 8-))

As promised I am going to post the pix from the party. The reviews were all favorable, and some said even for as hot as it was we had a great time! Excellent. because I was a tad busy being the cook. A party here is sort of a gathering and everyone entertains everyone else. ‘WAR" stories are swapped and some new ones are told. Some people report on their recent travels, one fellow does his habitat for humanity in Nicaragra. Another couple tells about their veggie garden. Some tell about their kids, or grand children. It’s a ‘family’ gathering. When you worked with people for over 30 years they are family, you spend almost as much time with them.

Tomorrow I am making the plum tomatoes into sauce and the yellow ones into marinara sauce, over thin spags with shrimp. Nice supper. Might send some to the neighbor who doesn’t cook.
