where can i get newts from?

Does anyone know where i can get newts from, i have wild frogs in my pond but would like to have some newts too, have tried the net but am hitting my head up a wall.

andrew you are so lucky i cannot get any anywhere, i'd love to have some tho maybe 2 if you know what i mean.

linclass i have read so far that it is the crested newt that is protected, havent found anything else other than that so far.

Our newts came of their own accord a couple of years ago and the pond has been there for 8 years so you may get lucky - I wouldnt think it was possible to buy wild creatures.

Be careful as regards the Newts Rosina,a lot of them are protected I,m sure and therefore I dont think one is supposed to remove them from their natural habitat,if they do appear in your area then count yourself very lucky.......
