I planted lots of lilies in a tub but only the pink multi-headed ones have come up. I've dug around and the others are plump and not rotted but have produced no leaves at all.
What could be the reason for this.

The tiger lilly type. I planted them about three and a half inches from the top. Same as the pink ones. In the same planter. I top dressed today with some new compost and ran my hands through the compost to get some air into the planter and found them. I forgot I had planted loads more only to discover they were o.k. but not sprouting.

I also found my tulip bulbs too. I've moved them to another pot. Maybe tulips and Lillies don't mix. What do you think?
