I have two large rosemary bushes which are gradually going yellow, then brown and black branch by branch. the same is happening to a young plant. It cannot be because of the rain as it started with one bush before the wet weather. What can I do please?

It sounds like rot - too much water/rain and too poor drainage. The only thing is to improve drainage. Rosemary roots very easily if you want to try that in a better drained place.
