I planted a lagerstromia (crape myrtle or lilas d'inde) 3 years ago in South West France.
The next summer there were a few flowers but for the last 2 years , although the tree is healthy with good green leaves it has not flowered.
What can I do to encourage it? I give it water when very hot and dry but otherwise have left it alone.
