Re Armenian tree identification

Here is a closer view of it. Not many leaves on it, mostly the blossom remains. Hope this helps. Maybe someone will recognise it!!!

Does the blossom have a fragrance?
Its still hard to see properly. It almost looks like a large Whitch hazel, they can grow to about 10ft, but Id imagine it's far to late in the season now.

Sorry I only saw the tree when the blossom was finished and I was interested to know what it was. I collected a few seeds and brought them home, so next year we will see whether they germinate. I imagine the blossom does smell since they told us it discourages flies.
