hi again everyone, im hoping you can tell me what this is, it should be either alyssum or campanula but i got the two mixed so thought if i identify this one the other is obviously whichever this one isnt lol, thank you

did you plant yellow alyssum? if so its that. its a perennial too.

not like any annual i've seen but looks like A. saxitalis which is perenial and yellow.

I would say it is yellow Alyssum take care of it lovely show of yellow in the Spring to go with you Aubritias.

Seaburngirl's right, it's Alyssum saxatile. It'll flower next year and so on.

so wont it be flowering this year??? thanks for the info, bamboo have you heard of worms killing of campanulas because 2 of mine were dead and when i lifted them the roots were full of worms

when you say worms were they white and thread like or were they millepedes? millepedes will happily eat roots. if they were proper worms [earthworm types] they wouldnt have harmed the plant at all.

they werent earth worms, little about 1" long, pale brown with blotches, i did post a topic but knowone seemed to know, maybe i planted it to loose or something and they just went there for some reason, im told it could have been infected before i got it as it was from holland

sounds like eel worm. google a picture of it and see if it matches. if it is they were already infected when you bought them. chuck them in the household bin.
