i have recently moved into a new property, and the previous owners have a half finished large pond dug out.
i do not want a pond and wonder what i can do with it?

Answers
Remove any liner first, or if they have concreted it, break up and remove as much concrete as you can. If the soil in your area is poor, this is a golden opportunity to amend it and plant a specimen flowering tree, or the like. One caveat: sometimes a pond is an attempt to use a low, swampy area that is too near the water table.
