hanging baskets

I hope you don't mind me giving my 5p worth?! :-)
I planted one of my cucumber plants out 2 weeks ago - just before the horribel winds - and its 2 largest leaves wilted, but the smaller emerging leaves looked OK, so I covered it with the bottom half of a plastic 5L water bottle (with ventilation holes punched into it), and it has recovered! I've also just planted my other 3 cucumbers out on Saturday (30/5/09) and they are thriving, so hopefully yours will like going out too. Best of luck!
