my big blue spruce

I have a beautiful...well it used to be blue spruce the last few years it has been getting very thing on one side. whats wrong with it?

We had the same problem with our blue spruce. Is it close to another tree or shrub??? Sometimes if there is another plant or even a fence too close it will thin on one side. We moved ours away from our privacy fence & into the full sun. It came back but it took several years for the improvement to be seen.
