Sunflowers growing nicely transfer to border 4 days later all that is left are the stems. They all had healthy leaves yesterday this morning not one!What could have eaten them?

thankyou everyone, thats what I thought just couldnt believe they were eaton so quickly there must have been an army of them ha ha!!
I have put pellets all over the garden but they obviously dont work, any tips on keeping the slugs away?

I go out after dark and pick them off and around plants, most nights I get over 30, the Hedgehogs are around then too.
