Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my semi-dwarf stella cherry tree (just planted this spring). Seems the new growth leaves curl, turn brown, and dry up. Here's a photo of a twig and leaves I cut off.

this might be leaf curl. cant remember the causes etc but check it.
the other leaves look mottled as if they have been attacked by insects.
